To be considered for this list, products have to:

  1. Have at least 20 unique product reviews published on Capterra within the past two years, as of January 23, 2023.

  2. Meet our definition of project management software to be considered as a market fit: “Project management software helps project managers and organizations execute projects—unique initiatives with a set scope/deliverables, a set timeline, and set resources/budget.

  3. Of the products that met the above criteria, the 25 with the highest functionality and value-for-money ratings were mapped on a scatterplot.

  4. From these 25 products, only those with publicly available pricing information on the vendor website were included in the price comparison table. Therefore, the price comparison table is a subset of the scatter plot.
