Ever wonder what Capterrans do for fun when we’re not connecting buyers and sellers of business software? Well, if so, it’s your lucky day, because I’m going to take you along on our most recent company adventure…

This past month, the weather was heating up, the pools were opening for the summer, and we software folk were in desperate need of some Vitamin D having been parked in front of our computers for the past six months!

So Capterra decided to venture outdoors to our nation’s capital (which is right in our backyard being based in Arlington, VA) to enjoy America’s favorite pastime— a good ‘ol summer baseball game.

Nats Stadium

Of course, at Capterra we always ride in style, so we decided to roll up to the Nats/Pirates game in a limo!

Your Marketing Advisors – Sara, Kaitie, and Kara – enjoyed the ride.

It was a close game for the first few innings (you can see how concerned our CEO, Mike, was here)…

(Jen and I obviously weren’t paying very close attention…)

But fortunately we didn’t have to because the Nats came through for the win!

We piled back in the limo and headed back to Arlington in hopes of continuing the fun with some “Capterraoke” (that’s Capterra doing Karaoke if you didn’t catch it). Joe- pictured here in the Yankees cap- was going to show off some of his mad vocal skills.

Unfortunately, our standby Karaoke place was closed for the night, so we headed our separate ways to rest up for another day of helping businesses find software like yours!

Does your company do these types of group outings too? Any suggestions for our next adventure?
